Exploring the City with our Fellows
Münster – city of the Peace Treaties of Westphalia (which ended the terrible 30 Years‘ War in 1648, closing a calamitous period of European history that killed approximately 8 million people, and is regarded not only as a historical contribution to a European peace order of equal states, but also as the starting point of a development that led to the formation of modern international law), – the city of the Sculpture Project, – Germany’s bicycle capital, – award winner of the ‚most livable city‘, – home to almost 10 universities, … and to the WiRe – Women in Research program at the University of Münster.
